On the 13th of May 2025, the #AlumniDay25 series kicked off in the UK with an evening event co-organised with EDHEC Alumni, as part of the "Make an Impact for Good" programme supported by the French Embassy in the United Kingdom.

Titled "The sustainability challenge: can AI power a greener future?", the event explored the intersection between artificial intelligence and the ecological transition. The panel discussion, moderated by Gwendoline Grollier (EDHEC alumna and co-founder of T3), featured Luca Cassani (Microsoft UK), Pilar SantaMaria (WisdomNow AI), Stuart Craig (RSK Group), and Ventaka Serish Gandikota (Cambridge Judge Business School).

Speakers discussed the potential of AI to support more sustainable economic models, while also addressing ethical, energy-related and environmental challenges. They all underscored the importance of responsible innovation governance, based on collaboration between academia and the private sector.

The event highlighted the growing commitment of graduates from French business schools such as EDHEC to addressing major societal challenges. Through the "Make an Impact for Good" initiative, launched in 2023, EDHEC UK alumni are promoting a new kind of leadership aligned with the imperatives of sustainable development.

The evening concluded with a networking reception, offering a friendly space to continue the discussion. A strong example of how the France Alumni UK network brings together talented individuals committed to ambitious and responsible innovation.
